I am a dark and spiced rum drinker. Based on reviews from numerous different sites, this non-alcoholic rum alternative appealed to me to give it a try.
Well, it's not good to put it politely. It was really bad. I wish I was just exaggerating, but I'm not. The smell was really bad, and gave strong hints of floor cleaner. It definitely didn't smell like rum or any alcohol product that I've encountered before. The taste was worse than the smell. I was extremely disappointed, as I really hoped it would be somewhat like a rum drink, even if as just a mixer. But anything I mixed it with, made the drink smell and taste more like a floor cleaning product. (no I have not actually tasted floor cleaner, but the smell is quite similar).
I don't like giving bad reviews and wish I could give it two stars, but I can't do so in good conscience.
