This is the syrup they should have released in 1998, when fruity beers and Sour Puss shooters were all the rage! During the lockdown, a certain Jean-Paul told us that he missed the taste of real raspberries. So did we!
Our fresh raspberries are first frozen to help concentrate the juices. Then our local partner Impress mashes them into a smooth puree that is mixed with lemon juice and sugar and then filtered. We keep some of the pulp in the syrup so it tastes just like Grandma's jam. And just like said jam, our syrup is free of flavoring and preservatives.
How to use it?
Which cocktails to revisit with this syrup?
Taste: The initial acidic roundness of raspberry coulis turns into jammy notes. The finish is like biting into the astringent fresh raspberries.
Ingredients: Sugars (sugar, raspberry juice), water, lemon juice, natural flavors, citric acid (acidulant).
