Vermouth is an ingredient of incredible complexity that adds a lot to a cocktail. Ours is no exception inspired by the famous French Dolin, it has notes of wine vinegar, grape, caramel, and a spicy black currant finish. Even without alcohol, its aromatic balance is impressive.
Served simply over ice with a twist of orange or grapefruit (or just on its own, the zest police won’t stop you), it’s perfect as an aperitif, a digestif, or even with food to replace wine.
